SMOT Campus is located on the now famous IT Super Highway hardly a kilometer away from the TIDEL Park , a landmark building on the expressway. The institute is easily located on the right of the road just after the tall HCL building.

The campus is well connected by road as well as train from some of the most important arrival points of the city. If you are coming from the airport, it would take about 25 minutes by taxi or about 45 minutes by public transport. If you are coming from Chennai Central, it would take about 45 minutes by Metro train—you should get down at Thiruvanmiyur terminus and take a three wheeler auto to cover the rest of the small distance.
